L-O-V-E Lisa’s in Notting Hill! Guusje and I were invited by Lisa herself to check the place out and I think I can honestly say this is my new favorite spot in NH for lunch.
I love everything about this place. First of all the divine Swedish food; The chef prepared us on amazing 8 course tasting menu and it was all mouthwateringly good. We absolutely adored the Skagenröra (Swedish Seafood Mix on toast) and their meatballs with mashed potato. Important note; They normally do a simple menu for lunch (choice of 5 dishes) and the extensive delicious menu in the evenings!) Secondly, the location on Portobello Road is great but it is after the Westway so you could miss it if you don’t know about it. There are lovey shops there so you should check that area out anyway! Thirdly, I loved the interior design; clean, serene, white and wooden simplicity with colorful touches and some contemporary art on the walls that is for sale. They have high tables in the front that are great for sharing with friends and smaller tables in the back that are perfect for a romantic hangout. Last but not least it is a great space to rent when you have a private party. We stayed here for 3,5 hours on a Sunday afternoon which gives an idea of how much we liked it! 305 Portobello Road, London | Closed on Mondays |Tube: Ladbroke Grove or Westbourne Park |+447445261778 |£££ | Website
