Bubbledogs | London

Ok so I’m not as excited about this place as I usually am when I write about any restaurant on our site, but I believe it’s mainly due to the fact I queued up for this restaurant and had to wait for 2 (!) hours to eat a hotdog. It tasted good yes – by the time we finally got our table I was really hungry! – and you can choose between many different exciting toppings but I don’t think they were actually that amazing. But then again, how tasty can a hotdog be, they’re Frankfurters at the end of the day… Both the tots and sweet potatoes were really good as sides. Anyway, the reason why I am writing about this place is because I think that when there is no such thing as a massive queue, it would be a really fun place to go. I love the concept of Champagne and hotdogs! The restaurant area is also really small so no room for drinks at the bar while you wait which is a shame. Apparently they have a secret back room where they host fine-dining tasting menus from an open kitchen. You can book for this one and don’t have to wait in queue at all, why did nobody tell me?! 70 Charlotte Street | 0207 637 7770 | ££ | Tube: Goodge Street | Website | Map
