After trying to make a reservation several times, we finally succeeded and had dinner in this unpretentious, intimate Italian restaurant in Notting Hill. The restaurant is located in a small romantic alley on the first floor of a Victorian Pub the Chepstow (which is a great place to have a drink outside on the pavement). The staff is incredibly nice and professional  and tell passionately about the dishes on their menu. The decor is simple with plain furniture but it’s cosy at the same time because all 12 tables are usually booked. Amazing place, food and atmosphere… 39 Chepstow Place, 020 7792 5501, ££££ – Underground: Bayswater or Notting Hill Gate
